We adopted Finley from the Vancouver SPCA in January 2011 when he was just eleven months old. We don't know much about his life before us: he was found as a stray and brought to a shelter; he was adopted by a family and then turned in to the SPCA after a few months; we saw his picture on the SPCA website, fell in love and brought him home five days later.
Finn is a big boy but he's friendly, gentle and loving. He can wrestle for hours and loves nothing more than a good high-speed chase around the park. He's very independent but will climb up onto the couch for a good snuggle. He has a very high prey drive; we're working on that. He refuses to learn how to fetch but he is very good at communicating his wants and needs.
We couldn't have asked for a better dog for our family.
